How it works
Three nutrients with one shared idea: helping your cells make and use energy.
Inside the power station
Many of your cells contain tiny energy factories called mitochondria. Riboflavin, CoQ10 and magnesium each have a different role in normal energy metabolism.
-
1
Riboflavin (vitamin B2) in your Original
Helps the machinery runYour body uses riboflavin to make two helper molecules, FAD and FMN. These support enzymes involved in releasing energy from food.
-
2
Coenzyme Q10
Carries the chargeCoQ10 moves electrons along the energy-production chain inside mitochondria. This is one of the steps your cells use to produce ATP.
-
3
Magnesium
Helps energy get usedATP, the cell’s energy currency, works together with magnesium. Magnesium also supports hundreds of enzyme systems, including those involved in energy production and normal nerve function.
A note on the science
Researchers have explored whether changes in cellular energy metabolism contribute to some forms of migraine. Migraine has several possible mechanisms; this is not a proven explanation for everyone.
NICE guidance, which informs NHS care in England, says riboflavin 400 mg daily may reduce migraine frequency and intensity for some people. Magnesium and CoQ10 have also been studied, but the evidence is limited and results vary. A nutrient’s role in cells does not prove that this specific pack prevents migraine.
These are food supplements, not a treatment for an attack. If you take medicines, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a medical condition, check with your doctor or pharmacist before starting.
