The everyday explanation

The garden and its food

The live cultures

One capsule typically provides a combined 10 billion CFU. CFU is a way of counting viable organisms—not a measure of how much benefit you will feel.

FOS · 40 mg

Fructooligosaccharides are short chains of carbohydrate associated with the prebiotic side of the formula. The label supplies 40 mg per capsule.

The gut–brain conversation

Your gut and brain communicate through nerves, hormones and immune signals. Studying that conversation is different from proving this capsule prevents migraine.

Six listed culture entries

The formula combines Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus and Streptococcus entries. The supplied label gives species names, without specific strain identifiers.

Little things worth knowing

Did you know?

Your everyday food can join the story

Kefir and some unpasteurised fermented foods, including kimchi, can supply live cultures. Check labels: vinegar-pickled vegetables and heat-treated foods may not contain live organisms. A varied diet with fibre helps nourish your gut community.

Okay, but how does it actually work?

Let’s look a little closer

Picture the gut as a varied garden. Live cultures are like additional plants being introduced; a prebiotic ingredient is more like food for particular organisms already there. It is a helpful analogy, not a claim that a capsule permanently replaces your microbiome. Different organisms and strains can behave differently, so a study of one strain cannot be transferred automatically to another blend. The same applies to FOS: 40 mg is the amount on this label, not necessarily the amount used in prebiotic trials. The gut–brain axis is an active research area; we keep that exciting science separate from claims that this finished product treats migraine or mood problems.

MigraSoothe Probiotic Complex FAQs

What is the difference between a probiotic and a prebiotic?

The easy picture is a garden: live cultures are the microorganisms, and a prebiotic ingredient is food that certain microorganisms can use. Our formula pairs a live culture blend with chicory-derived FOS. In scientific usage, calling a culture a probiotic also requires evidence of a health benefit at the appropriate amount; species names and a large CFU number alone do not establish that benefit.

What does 10 billion CFU mean?

Colony-forming units estimate viable organisms. The 10 billion figure is for the combined blend per capsule, not 10 billion of each listed organism. A larger number alone does not establish better results.

Which cultures are listed?

Bifidobacterium lactis, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei rhamnosus and Streptococcus thermophilus. The ingredient list identifies the lactis entry as Bifidobacterium animalis lactis. We preserve the supplied label names rather than invent strain codes.

Why include FOS?

FOS is the prebiotic-side ingredient, derived from chicory inulin according to the label. It provides a different component from the live cultures; the amount here is 40 mg per capsule.

How do I take the Probiotic Complex?

The existing product directions recommend one capsule daily. Follow the current bottle label and take it with water; a meal can make a consistent routine easy to remember.

How should I store it?

Keep it cool, dry and dark, below 25°C, and out of children’s reach, as stated on the label. Do not leave it on a sunny windowsill or beside a heat source.

Can I take it with my core formula?

It is a separate booster from Original, + Herbs and Pro. Check whether your pack already includes it and ask a pharmacist about your overall routine, particularly with medicines or an underlying condition.

Is it proven to improve migraine through the gut–brain axis?

That connection is scientifically interesting, but findings from other strains or blends do not prove this product prevents migraine. The guide explains the rationale without presenting a theory as a demonstrated result.

Is it allergen-free?

Do not assume that. The label states that the manufacturing facility handles allergy-based materials, despite precautions against cross-contamination. Ask for specific allergen information if you have an allergy.

What’s on the ingredients label?
