MigraSoothe Selector Knowledge Base for Zipchat
Purpose
This page is the working knowledge base for the MigraSoothe product selector and Zipchat. The selector recognises that there are many headache and migraine types, but it matches broad patterns to products; it does not diagnose a migraine type.
Question flow
- About you: Female, Male, or Prefer not to say / skip.
- Age: under 12, 12–17, 18–39, 40–44, 45–54, 55–59, or 60+.
- Frequency in a typical month: Occasional (0–3 migraine days), Frequent (4–7 days), or Very frequent (8 or more days).
- Severity when a migraine happens: Mild (usually able to carry on), Moderate (must slow down or stop some activities), or Severe (must stop and rest or cannot function normally).
- Closest need: straightforward vitamins, mood/stress support, hormonal/menstrual support, or vitamins with herbs.
- Extra needs: sleep, gut symptoms, persistent tiredness despite sleep, concentration, nausea, bone/back or muscle symptoms, or frequent infections.
- Suitability: anticoagulants, antidepressants/serotonin medicines, thyroid/iodine avoidance, and allergies.
Age and hormonal logic
Under 12: no recommendation. Ages 12–17: recommend MigraSoothe Original only, explain that migraine prevention should be under expert care, and state that NICE guidance for people aged 12 and over says riboflavin 400 mg once daily may be considered for migraine prevention. For females or people who skip the sex question, ages 45–54 and 55–59 see specific perimenopause and menopause wording.
Frequency and severity matrix
| Frequency | Mild | Moderate | Severe |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0–3 days | Good | Good | Better |
| 4–7 days | Good | Better | Best |
| 8+ days | Better | Best | Best |
The result page must give a direct verdict naming the suggested starting point and explaining the combination of frequency and severity. Very frequent but mild migraine must not automatically be labelled Best.

- Gut symptoms: Probiotic Complex.

Zipchat answer style
Answer directly in clear British English. Explain why a product was matched, link to the current product page, avoid diagnosing the migraine type, and keep price statements current by referring to the live product page. Where appropriate, use the wording: Choose your pack and buy on the product page.
